Every model year listed for the Land Rover LR3 has a proven battery. The most common answer is CR2025. Rows below run oldest to newest; a year can appear twice when the car came with more than one kind of key.

Changing the battery
Flip key
- Swing the key blade open first. On most flip keys the cell lives in the body behind the hinge.
- Some flip keys have a screw on the back; others just clip. Remove the screw if there is one, then pry gently at the seam.
- Swap the coin cell, keeping the same face up as the one you removed, and do not bend the metal contact tab.
- Clip the body closed, fold the blade, and test the buttons from a few steps away.
A CR2025 is 20 mm across and 2.5 mm thick. CR2032, CR2025 and CR2016 share the same width but not the same thickness, so a swap between them can leave a loose contact or a case that will not close.
If a child might have swallowed a coin cell, treat it as an emergency and get to a hospital right away.
