Every model year listed for the Chrysler 300M has a proven battery. The most common answer is 2 x CR2016. Rows below run oldest to newest; a year can appear twice when the car came with more than one kind of key.

Separate remote fob
- A separate fob has no key blade inside, so it opens with nothing but a coin or a small screwdriver.
- Find the slot along the edge and turn a coin in it. Go slowly so the clips do not snap.
- Swap the cell or cells, keeping the same side up as the old ones.
- Snap the case shut and watch for the lights to flash when you press lock at the car.
This key takes two CR2016 cells. Change both at the same time and stack them the way the old pair sat; mixing a fresh cell with a tired one shortens the life of the new one.
A CR2016 is 20 mm across and 1.6 mm thick. CR2032, CR2025 and CR2016 share the same width but not the same thickness, so a swap between them can leave a loose contact or a case that will not close.
If a child might have swallowed a coin cell, treat it as an emergency and get to a hospital right away.
